Is Lantern a home care or medical service?
No. We're a non-medical concierge service — we never provide personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting), medication administration, or skilled nursing. We handle everything around the person: technology, rides, errands, lifting, and companionship. Families who need hands-on care often use a home care agency for that and Lantern for everything else.
Can you drive my mother to a doctor's appointment?

How are your helpers vetted?
Massachusetts CORI check, national criminal background check, driving record audit, reference calls, and an in-person interview — and we're bonded and insured. We vouch personally for every person we send.
How does pricing work?
Spot visits are $65/hour with a 90-minute minimum. Members pay $55/hour and the $59 monthly fee is credited toward the first visit each month. Plans with included hours start at $249/month, and common tech jobs have flat rates from $129.
